uuHHM okay, so I don't have a lot of characters that I end up loving or drawing a lot. I really want that to change, so I'm holding a design contest for a character that I hopefully love <3

GUIDELINES:
    *can be animal, anthro, monster, or humanoid!
    -the medium in which you draw has no affect on your chances of winning, it's the design that matters (traditional, pixel, digital drawing, anything goes!)
    -no bases or pre-existing designs please!
    -you can enter as many times as you want! (but that doesn't mean you have a higher chance of winning)
    -post your entry(s) to this journal

    -you don't have to, but it would be really nice if you posted a journal with a link to this contest!

JUDGING:
    I judge based on originality and how fun the design is to draw. These are sort of vague points I know, but basically this contest isn't about who can draw the best anatomically correct sparkle dog. 

you don't need all the technical skill in the world to make something fun and interesting :)

THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND WHILE DESIGNING:
    -I like both original species and existing species (i mean real-life species like foxes or bears or deer)
    -I like SIMPLICITY, please don't make the design too cluttered
    -I don't like gaudy colours, natural is the way to go with me (various shades of brown, black or white, low saturated colours, maybe a few bright colours as accents.)
    -I also like natural patterns, like tiger stripes or cheetah spots and such.
    -dont be afraid to make something gross or weird!
    -you don't have to add accessories!
    -SHAPES. SHAPES. SHAPES. I LIKE SHAPES. circle eyes, square eyes, triangle head, circle head, triangle tail, etc. SHAPES ROCK. you dont have to make the character with shapes, but if i can make it into simple shapes when i doodle then i'll like it more.
